A belated Halloween picture

Wow! I'll bet David would give almost $1.50 (blue tag special) to have his old coat back. As for me, I wish I were wearing my old calculator watch. You can see by the look on my face that I'm analyzing the optimal candy intake for the evening (do I see a foreshadowing of Daniel?). Andy will be glad that Janell does not still have this look on her face, but I'll bet he can attest that it still comes out now and then. I can see that Ben was not up for much trick-or-treating (I mean harvest festivaling) after a long day playing How Now Brown Cow. As for Lisa, I can only say that she seems suitably pitiful for being the child left out of the evening jack-o-lantern fun.

Janell looks scarier than the Jack O Lantern

No doubt, David's coat still exists somewhere at 1208. Somebody over there wouldn't part with any of the kids' clothes, but wanted to keep recycling them. He probably has his eye on yours, Steve! As for a foreshadowing of Daniel, in regard to optimal candy intake, you guys should see the stash of candy he has! And all for being an Emo, and looking sad and pitiful! And quit picking on Janell. Poor thing is still in trouble for her so-called temper tantrum, last weekend. Certainly, Ben had to set the example for you kids, and celebrate Fall Harvest time, shunning the other, worldly, evil occasion. He was such a good big brother to you kids (and still is!) And what can we say for Little Lisa; looks to me like she was sporting the old "Lisa Pout." Must have been our first Oct. 31st there, and she hadn't started smiling yet. Took her awhile, but those precious smiles were definitely worth the wait (re: all three of her smiles in blog entry "A sophisticated evening at the ballet.") And you, Mr. Silly Salamander, you look pretty sweet and innocent there, but the rest of us know better. You were quiet, but always up to something! Wonder what you were up to that night!
