Light in a Dark Room

Last weekend David and I punched through the outer wall of my dining room and installed an awning window. Here are some photos of the project, though you really have to see it in person. Having a window in the dining room adds so much more light to the dining room and kitchen.

It's b-e-a-utiful! I guess the window is a better hole filler than David would have been...

I disagree. David has always looked very nice in a wooden frame...sideways. you missed your chance Ben. But the window is a nice second.

So, next time David tries to imitate a door, do we say, "You make a better window than you do a door."? Maybe he'll start blocking the tv more as a result.

Very nice, but nothing witty to say, I'm afraid. Though, now that I think of it, I wonder which is easier for David, putting in a window, or putting up a window shelf? Hmmmm. Good job, guys; looks very nice!
