Going to the highest bidder!

Don't miss this once in a lifetime chance to roll back the clock and re-live those childhood memories! This original bar and stool set is going to the highest bidder. This is no cheapie retro copy, this is original solid Americana. Built like a tank! Just nail this baby down to your kitchen, dining room, or living room floor and you will be ready to hop on the stool for a sandwich and reminisce to your hearts content. For extra memories, scatter a few papers around so you can read while you eat! Sandwich and papers not included.

  1. I think I have room for a bar in my bedroom here in Caro. I'll take it!

  2. I'll bid my holiday cleaning and decorating services

  3. Hmm... not a bad offer, depending on how much work I can actually get out of you. I think I'll wait to see if I get a better offer before agreeing to this one. Next offer?

  4. I bid $1 million dollars! Wait, we are talking Monopoly money, right?

  5. Well, to hear some people talk about the US currency situation, the dollar and monopoly money may be fairly close in value.

  6. I believe Aunt Kathy has a place for the stools at her place, and Lisa shouldn't mind...she only wanted the bar. I'll bid a chicken pot pie, chicken broccoli casserole, or chicken soup, and apple crisp.

  7. Hmm, not a bad offer, but is there someone else with a better one? I may need to put this on Craig's list.

  8. Um, maybe you should keep it installed in the garage. Otherwise, where will everyone eat at Christmas?

  9. Good point Steve, but it might be too cold. Unless you think you and yours are immune to the cold, in that case it could be the "UP Diner"

  10. Hmpf! Better offer than homemade chicken pot pie and apple crisp? I retract my bid, and too bad for you and yours! You'll pass up all good offers, and end up sitting on one of those bar stools, at that vintage bar, eating a Banquet Pot Pie, if you're lucky!

  11. Too late, Aunt Kathy already got the bar stools. The only thing left now is the bar. I might put wheels on it and make it a rolling tool bench.

  12. I like the idea for a UP Diner. I think you could open one of those Dad—maybe serve Shannon Dogs and Dog Poop Sauce. (I'm not sure who I'm insulting in that sentence—Dad or Yoopers—but I'm sure I've hit somebody.)

  13. I don't think UP'ers want hot food, I think snow cones would be the only thing on the menu they would eat.
