A few thoughts from Andy...

Hello Barnharts. It's been a while since you've heard from me, so I thought I'd update you on what's going on in my life.

Janell and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary. I reminded her, that she has spent roughly a quarter of her life with me. Once she finished crying, she realized that it isn't quite as dismal as it seems. She still had a good 3 quarters of her life still. Now, when she turns 36 and has been with me for half her life, we could have bigger problems.

On a brighter note, the best day of the year is approaching quickly. That's right, it's everyone's favorite brother/son in-law's birthday! July 30th, 1980 was an amazing day in history, and it should be celebrated as such. So, I have updated my gift list and reposted it. I know what you're thinking..."It's awfully presumptious of him to think WE are going to give HIM a present". If you're thinking that, you are correct. I am presuming it.

That is all.
Thanks.

  1. Well, favorite (and only!) son-in-law, I had taken notice of thine birthday, written in on my little purse calendar. Thought I to myself, "We could do something special for the big guy, since he and Janell will be home that weekend." But, seeing that thou hast solicited for such favor, I'm inclined to refrain from such frivolity. In other words, you just took the fun away! You're following in your father-in-law's footsteps! You get into a lot of trouble with women, in that way. Further consideration will have to be given to the manner with which this occasion will be "cebrelated."

  3. I don't know Andy, my gift list ideas never produced any merchandise for me. Good luck.

  4. Not true! For the most part, you didn't have gift list ideas, and didn't have suggestions, when asked; we came up with ideas on our own, and you received some really nice merchandise, over the years. It wasn't too hard figuring out what you needed, or might want, seeing you were working on cars and house repairs in much of your spare time. Maybe the problem was with a corny gift list!

  5. For your information Miss "Come lately to the blogging world", I posted a fantastic gift list to supply ideas for the Father's Day shopping frenzy, only to realize it was a Father's Day shopping derth. My will is being amended accordingly.

  9. I get criticized for not having a list and criticized for having a gift list, what are my options here?

  10. Not true, again! I merely refuted your statement, "... my gift list ideas never produced any merchandise for me." Though, I have seen some pretty corny lists around there! Your options? Give gifts to others on your birthday! That way, you don't have to come up with ideas, (for yourself, anyway) or feel the need to post a list. (Hint, hint, favorite son-in-law.)
