Be wise, ORGANIZE!

I've been thinking fondly of turkey and the Annual Christmas Day Sledding Classic lately. Please leave a comment below stating whether you will be coming to Muskegon for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, all three, none of these holidays, or a combination. The possibilities are endless! Happy Halloween!

  1. You could have bumped up your, "Post that cohesively mentions the most holidays," award by adding Election Day, 11/2/10 (for which I have the day off from class:) and also Veterans' Day, 11/11/10.

  2. I will not be attending any of these festivities. However, for the rest of you in town, if any of you have any reservations about these silly happy holiday "events", feel free to join me in my Grinch Cave that I have constructed underneath the garage.

  3. I will likely be skiing in the Alps and confering with world leaders in Paris a good portion of that time.

  4. Ok Lisa, I will actually answer your post seriously. Andy and I (and Tiny McCann!) will not be in Michigan for Thanksgiving, but we do plan to come for several days right after Christmas. We are planning to be in Illinois the day of Christmas since we're hoping to have James spend the day with us, and then we'll leave early the next day and be able to stay for a while after that. Can't wait to see everyone!

  5. So is that what you are naming your baby- Tiny? I went to school with a Tiny Moore, but she wasn't very Tiny.

  6. Thank you Janell. You,me,Andy, and Tiny will be the only ones entered into the Christmas Gift Exchange Hat since apparently no one else is going to be home for Christmas. Hopefully Tiny won't get my name, seeing as the only present she will be capable of giving will be of the bodily fluids nature.

  7. Dad - I'm just hoping to remind the baby that she is supposed to be small...not 10 lbs. like I think she is. Power of suggestion.

Lisa - don't you think they will be the cutest bodily fluids though??? :)

  8. Lisa - don't think I didn't notice your subtle little tag there. It's not that easy to win the award young lady!! I'll have you know the categories and judges are strictly controlled and regulated by the OPOTB. (Official Police of the Blogosphere)

  9. I answered the Christmas part of this question on Andy's post above, but I didn't say anything about Thanksgiving. I'm planning to stay in Minneapolis this Thanksgiving. I'll be giving the kitchen, dining room, and living room walls their finishing touches. And posting about it like crazy to annoy Daniel. "Minute-by-minute updates of paint drying! Detailed photos of every minute piece of trim cut and installed! Water swirling effortlessly down my newly derooted sewer main!"

  10. The Northern Barnharts will also not be in Muskegon for Thanksgiving since we squandered all our vacation earlier this year lounging at the beach and campsite. We will likely be home around Christmas and will coordinate with the McCanns so we can see tiny (Peter will look so brutish). New year's is anyone's guess.
