A bit o' color

As anyone who's talked to me over the last six months knows, I've spent far too long deliberating over paint colors for my new kitchen and dining room. If there's one thing I've learned it's that I'm a pretty poor colorist. So after trying out close to ten different paint samples, I finally found a few that I thought I could live with, and have spent most of the last few weekends painting these rooms. Here are some pictures to show you how things are turning out.

great color choice Ben! I can't believe how different the house looks from the last time I was there. I think Karl and I will just buy your house. You can live in the basement if you want : )

Very bright colors Ben, are you trying to one-up the purple/green theme that was there when you bought the house? Looks really good. I usually paint beige or some type of off white, but it is really boring.

Be honest, you chose hungry colors. Why do you think McDonalds is red and yellow?

I think that means you want people to eat lots and lots of food at your house? If so, sign me up.

That looks great, Ben. I like the warm colors and I think everything is very complementary. The cabinets really pop with a little color and the backsplash. I'd like to know David's ..er honest opinion, though.
