The Jeep is back on it's feet! (or wheels)

Shiny new pistons, rings, and bearings are what it took to get the Jeep off the mat and back on it's feet. I wouldn't say it is ready to contend for the title, but at least it is running without sounding like it's going to launch a piston through the hood at any minute.  Thanks to neighbor Scott for advice and Snake man Fred for help.  My contribution was to tear it all apart and reassemble it multiple times until it was right. Oh ya- and to pay for the parts.

Those shiny new pistons somehow look out of place in there, amongst the rest of the parts! Congratulations! Bet you won't try that, again, anytime soon. :)

Now that it's in mint condition, you should probably throw it on a flatbed and drive it to the Henry Ford Museum for safekeeping. Maybe change the name from Grand Cherokee to Bronco just to guarantee safe passage.

I'll just add BroncoThe and Crusher in front of and behind the Jeep logo and it will pass right by the guards. BroncoTheJeepCrusher

OK Andy, lets see, new pistons, rings, and bearings, lots of labor- add that to what I paid you for it, plus the cost of inflation and appreciation- I think I need about 6 grand now. But the price will go up as winter weather gets closer, so you better hurry with the check.
