I've no mother
no father
no sisters
no brothers...
Just kidding, I have all of these, in abundance! I was just at a concert last night and this was part of the last song she sang. I just thought I'd see if I could trick you guys into thinking an imposter had hacked into our blog. Sneaky.
My intent in posting is actually not to trick or deceive, but rather to find truth. I desire pure knowledge, and I seek it from those whom I know have already attained great wisdom and understanding - yes, you, my dear family. My heart tells me that here, my deepest burning quest will soon come to an end. To all who are scattered among the lakes of Minnesota and the trees of northern Michigan:
When are you coming home?
~and~
What are we getting for all these people who are having special occasions like birthdays and "I survived six kids" days and "I'm not sure I'm still alive but I have a B.A." days?
I suggest s-p-e-l-l--i-n-g some things out if you'd like to keep them a secret from the you-know-who's. (King D and DJ Bacon)

I was thinking of getting everyone a nice Orisinal flower arrangement, but I don't know if I'll get it done in time. Rachel and I will be in Muskegon the weekend of May 19-20. We are also thinking we'll be around for July 4 weekend. We'll probably bring Ella too. The Fletch would be there for July 4, but not the other weekend. Of course I'm dying to know what the Illinoise clan is planning.
The information in the preceeding comment is not entirely correct - nanuk and I will be in the Muskegon area the weekend of May 19-21 as we'll be in the Detroit area for the two work weeks surrounding that weekend. However, the other date indicated is a bit questionable. The Handyman has some training in Detroit the last week of June (26-30) and we had discussed coming to Muskegon either the weekend before or the weekend after (the weekend after would be the July 4th weekend). However, the last I was aware, we were leaning a bit towards the June weekend rather than the 4th of July weekend, so that we could be here over the "holiday weekend" and not be traveling. We are somewhat flexible in our plans, though, and if the 4th of July weekend works best for everyone else, we can probably be there, too.
hey! I can spel!
Please excuse me for my stubborn incorrectedness. I suppose this is what comes of communicating only through blog.
David, you mispeled a word. Yuk yuk yuk!
