Floody?

Does anyone else remember a certain RedRiderTheGunShotCowboy running around singing this for days and days until he was threatened within an inch of his life by other, unnamed siblings? Or maybe it was Lisa...either way, you can imagine my delight when I stumbled into the lyrics for this beloved song. And yes, I did proceed to sing the whole thing to myself. I was alone, and I couldn't resist. Laugh now, but wait until you start reading!

The Lord told Noah, there's gonna be a floody, floody
Lord told Noah, there's gonna be a floody, floody,
Get those animals out of the muddy, muddy,
Children of the Lord.
The Lord told Noah, to build Him an arky, arky,
Lord told Noah, to build Him an arky, arky,
Build it out of gopher barky, barky,
Children of the Lord
The animals, the animals, they came in by twosies, twosies,
Animals, the animals, they came in by twosies, twosies,
Elephants and kangaroosies, roosies,
Children of the Lord.
It rained and poured for forty daysies, daysies,
Rained and poured for forty daysies, daysies,
Almost drove those animals crazies, crazies,
Children of the Lord.
The sun came out, and dried up the landy, landy,
Look! There's the sun, it dried up the landy, landy,
Everything was fine and dandy, dandy,
Children of the Lord.
Rise and shine, and give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine, and give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine, and give God the glory, glory
Children of the Lord.

that might have been me. i remember really liking that song. and besides, if I did sing it nonstop, it was probably just because I wanted to share my beautiful soprano voice with the world.
