It's Time to Get a Little Bit Presidential

Well it's been two years since I first threw out this challenge - long enough that I even forgot about it until I started cleaning out my inbox today. You may remember this as the last time you had real fun or the last time you got any exercise or both. Either way, I'm renewing my exercise challenge. You might also say I'm exercising my right to challenge. Or, you might not.

Here's what to do: Find the website http://presidentschallenge.org/index.aspx. Then logon (if you can remember your old username and password) or create a login. You will be able to log daily activity in exchange for points - no strings attached!!! Of course, it is your patriotic (and presidential) duty to join in this effort. Though you may now be overjoyed at the thought of earning points for taking out the garbage, I tell you the best is yet to come. That's because you will also want to register with the group 'not2fit' - a special BaCe exclusive. Once in the group, you can track your progress against others. See the canned message below for details.

Who knows, maybe we can have a monthly prize for the most active person. I have a head start, of course, since I began my active lifestyle yesterday. But we won't start keeping track and charging demerits until the first of May. David - I would like to suggest that baton twirling and unicycling will not be acceptable this time around.

The group name is 'not2fit'
The group ID number is '7293'
Your group member ID/Name will be your favorite arcade game or your favorite pizza topping.

What's with this nonsense? I run 5 miles a day, do 500 situps and pushups before eating a breakfast of whole wheat biscuits and goatsmilk. And then I start my exercise routine. I can lie on the internet about my healthy lifestye with the best of them. I say- bring it on!

Am I the only one who's signed up so far?

No, I've just signed up today. Which was nice because I actually excercised today, so I'm looking pretty good. But that is not a sign of things to come.

If you want to see the real progress of your fellow Barnharts, here's how to access the group statistics: go to http://www.presidentschallenge.com/group_admin/login.aspx
and login as not2fit (barnhart). There you can see who has logged activity today and the top activitiers. You can also see the last date a person was active and cross-check it against their Oberweis receipts.

Hey! I strongly resent any insinuations made in that statement..please don't check my receipts!!
